Lumora is built to be private by design. We do not have user accounts, we do not run analytics or tracking SDKs, and we do not collect or sell your personal data. This policy explains the little data the app does use, and why.
If you grant location access, Lumora uses your location to compute the sun, moon and Milky Way conditions for your spot, and to request the local cloud-cover forecast. Your location is used on your device for these calculations. It is not stored on our servers (we have none) and is never sold or shared for advertising.
Cloud-cover forecasts are provided by Apple Weather (WeatherKit). To return a forecast, the app sends the relevant coordinates to Apple. Apple's handling of that request is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Spots you save are stored only on your device. They are not uploaded anywhere.
Lumora Pro is available as an auto-renewable subscription (weekly or yearly) or as a one-time lifetime purchase, all handled entirely by Apple via the App Store. We never see your payment details. Apple may share aggregate, non-identifying purchase information with us through App Store Connect.
If you enable Smart Alerts, reminders are scheduled and delivered locally on your device. No notification data leaves your device.
Lumora is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from them.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
